It is our aim to craft unique garments which stand the test of time. Tailoring in such a way to produce a classic silhouette ensures that the coming and goings of fashion do not affect the length of time the wearer can enjoy our suits.
The resulting Monte Lys garment would look equally as relevant in the city today as it would have done when cut by Don Manuel Benito In the 1940s.

Our home at 22 Bury street offers our clients a home away from home. Tucked away from the bustling streets of London we offer solitude and relaxation accompanied by expert tailoring in a beautiful purpose built setting.

How long does a Bespoke Suit take to make?
A Monte Lys bespoke suit takes an average of 12 weeks to craft as of the initial consultation stage. This can be thought of as 1 fitting every 4 weeks until completion.
To what extent can I customise my garments?
There are no limitations as to where we can take your garments design. As we are starting from scratch, in the true essence of bespoke we have full autonomy to take the process wherever we decide.
We will offer our expertise and guidance to ensure the resulting garment is suited to is desired function.
How are Monte Lys Bespoke Garments made?
Our garments are crafted entirely by hand between our shop on Bury Street and family workshop in Madrid (where our garments have been made since 1944!)
Each maker in our team offer expertise in very particular disciplines resulting in your garment being crafted and refined at each stage by makers who only specialise in the exact procedure they are performing on your garment. This enables us to achieve the optimum level of fit and finish.
